DALLAS- May 13, 2022 – Beneficient is excited to announce that Thomas O. Hicks, Ben’s Senior Partner Director, was named as one of the 2022 inductees who will join the Texas Business Hall of Fame this fall. As a pioneer of the private equity industry, Tom was a vital early supporter of Ben and has continued to be an active leader within the firm, serving as Vice Chairman and sitting on Ben’s Compensation, Enterprise Risk, Executive and Nominating Committees.
The Texas Business Hall of Fame’s mission is to celebrate and champion the business leaders of Texas and recognize trailblazers who exemplify Texas leadership and innovation. Ben is very proud to congratulate Tom on this well-deserved achievement. Tom joins Richard Fisher, another Ben Senior Partner Director and early supporter, as well as Roger Staubach, a former Ben Director, on the prestigious Texas Business Hall of Fame.
Additionally, Tom is Founder and Partner of Hicks Holdings LLC, a family office that owns and manages real estate, corporate assets, and investments, including a private equity firm, Hicks Equity Partners. Previously, he was Co-Founder and Chairman of Hicks Muse Tate & Furst, a prominent private equity firm.
